Hi there! I’m Katrina Leferink, a Melbourne-based dog photographer specialising in capturing moments in time that are worth reliving. 

Founded in 2023 after I graduated high school, Jumping Jacks Photography was created and named after my two childhood Jack Russell Terriers, Jessie and Holly. When I was a pre-teen I had created an Instagram account for my two girls and over the years following I grew both as a person and as a photographer. From small pocket cameras to professional DSLRs and Mirrorless, I have experienced quite a journey to get where I am now. I taught myself how to operate cameras and developed my own editing style which utilises natural colour and lighting. 

After the loss of one of my clients, Luna the Husky, my dedication to this business has only grown. Her loss has only reminded me why I do this and why it’s so important that special moments in time are captured through photography.

My love for dogs shines through in my work and in the field. I aim to capture our beloved canines in their element, both through action and portrait, whether it be at the beach, park, forest – you name it! No matter the age, reactivity or training level, I will happily accommodate your pooch.

Our fur-babies don’t live forever but their memories do. Don’t have any regrets and get those photos taken.
